Although not supported directly by our church any longer, Amy is considered part of our extended congregation. 

 

GOOD NEWS EVANGELISTIC FELLOWSHIP (GNEF)
(KING'S OUTPOST CAMP - Baron, OK)

Ray and Jean Chitwood, missionaries in Northeast Oklahoma and GNEF board members.

Ministry includes:  Camp Ministry
                               Backyard Bible Clubs, local church work, etc.- conducted by the "Summer Youth Team"
                              Spring and Fall Fair and Festival ministry - the GNEF staff sets up the train and story house in order to present the gospel message to all who attend the event.
                              Bible Released Time School Ministry - the GNEF staff works as school missionaries - Sept. thru May.  There are weekly and monthly BRT classes set up in ten area schools.

GNEF staff and board are involved a lot of miscellaneous ministry on Indian reservations across the US and Canada and also works with at-risk persons.                             

Some information about King's Outpost Camp.
 

Construction on the camp began in 1997.  Camps have been held since 1998. 

In 2007, 576 people used the camp property as campers, for retreats, or as a base for local ministry to Indian churches.   Four GNEF children's camps are scheduled in 2008, and the camp will be used as headquarters for several other churches doing mission trips.
